When ever I am asked “Do you run..?” …And I reply “Yes..!!” This is generally greeted in a number of varying ways. From those who still bare the scars from the days of running cross country at school, to those who did run cross country at school, and look at you green in envy. Almost certainly I am asked by some “Did I run the marathon..?” Some get more technical in their questions. They ask, “How far….and how often do I run..?” I find this amusing just watching their jaw drop in amazement as I explain. Running may be a odd ball thing to do, but if you look at events such as the London marathon, and the shear thousands who enter to run every year..? Maybe running is not as odd ball as it may seem. In fact running is a sport you can do anywhere, anytime, anyplace. Running is relatively free. In running there are no limits. No one to dictate what you do. Running is freedom from the day to day stress’s of our fast paced lives. In running you can find a discipline to follow, a determination and dedication . Running can test your endurance, test your stamina. Running can test you. Running has no barriers. Running is about you, and with me running has opened up a whole new world…. Welcome to my world…!!
